Gratitude is the ability to pay attention to what we have, instead of worrying about what we don’t have. We can practise this by noticing the positives that exist around us. When we practise gratitude every day, we elevate our mood and improve our mental health.
Practise gratitude at least three times a week by drawing/writing one of the following:
- What were three things that went well for you today?
- Who is someone you feel really grateful for today? Tell us why.
- What is it about our home that makes it our home/special family place?
- What is something you are looking forward to tomorrow?
